Now what??? (wondering about where to spend attribute points)
I reached level 20 with my prophecies Elementalist/Monk, partially by questing a lot in Proph, partially by working on Nightfall a bit. My reason for splitting my time between the two campaigns is that I have a friend who only has Proph, and I play that with him, but I have more game time than he does. So when he's not there, I was doing Nightfall. I've opted to stop Nightfall and work on a Paragon there, but still, I've made 20.
Now my question is, what to do with my extra attribute points? I do not have the 30 available from the Att quests yet, but will be working on that over the weekend.
I have Fire maxed, and I have Energy Storage to the point that using the lesser Glyph I have, my spells cost 15 points less. I don't see much point yet in increasing the Energy Storage. I have enough magic points, and well... Energy Storage is not the same as Energy Management, and I figured a good way to work on Energy Management is to simply learn to properly use the amount I have.
Still, this leaves me with ample attribute points to spend. I dumped them all into Healing simply to improve my resurect (lone skill from the monk job that I use). Still, this seems like a waste.
So what do people usually do at this point? Just keep going with one element and not worry? Keep them in healing since I do use one skill? Go with Energy Storage anyways?
Just curious on the general thoughts of what to do with extra points when making a lone element elementalist I guess. Thanks all!

Some people use those "extra" attribute points in Earth Magic to use any of the useful Wards (Against Melee, Elemental defense, etc.)
Any others go /N, put some points in curses and use Enfeebling blood, or go /P to use Fall Back!, etc.
Just experiment with any other profesions and skills

You speak like attribute points assignment is done once and for all... Try to get more skills+elites and experiment with new skills and builds. If you played fire only try other elements (earth is my favourite). And ascend (=get ability to change secondary profession), THAN you can start really experiment.

As others said, experiment, mix your build up.
With 12 in fire,
you can then put 10 in storage, and 8 into earth or any other second proffesion attribute to come up with some snazzy combinations.

Unlike other RPG's, GW lets you change your attributes and skills, if your on a town. Just press K and change them as you like. It even lets you use pre-made templates of "build's". Builds is the name given to your attributes+skills setup. There are sites dedicated to GW guilds, http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page been the most important. I would suggest getting checking out builds from pvx... for you and for your heroes.

Tbh, I don't think you would really need much more than 9 points in E-Storage, if you're runing GoLE.
But the spread of your attribute points depends largely on what you're trying to do in the field. Are you nuking or spiking? Supporting or snaring?
If you really arn't going to use those extra points for anything else, then I see no problem with leaving them in healing for your res skill. As the challenges mount, I'm sure you'll find those "extra" points quite useful. But I personally think it would be better to choose what effect you want to have on a given battle, and then focus your build towards achieving that effect as best you can.
